No. little BIG hotels are classic overnight hotels – no day use, no hourly hotel, no short-stay booking. Reservations are available for overnight stays only, booked directly via our website or booking engine. Check-in from 3:00 PM, check-out by 11:00 AM. If you need more flexibility: late check-out until 2:00 PM is available as an add-on for €25 – subject to availability, just ask at reception.

Check-in from 15:00. Early arrival from 12:00 is possible for a surcharge of €25 – please enquire directly when booking.

Check-out by 11:00. Late check-out until 14:00 is possible for a €25 surcharge – just ask at reception, subject to room availability.

Shortly after your booking you will receive an e-mail with a link to your personal web app. There you fill in the registration form and can check in online from 15:00 on the day of arrival. At hotels with a digital key, you open your room door directly via smartphone. Step-by-step guide →

LINDEMANN's, Anna 1908, fjord hotel berlin and CALMA Berlin Mitte have a fully digital key via smartphone app. The YARD, Hotel am Bayrischen Platz and Alt-Connewitz offer online check-in without a physical digital key.

Yes – all little BIG hotels offer complimentary coffee and tea every day from 13:00 to 21:00 for all guests. For hygiene and environmental reasons there are no coffee machines in the rooms – instead we offer our coffee flat rate with eco-friendly to-go cups.

Yes – free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms and public areas of all little BIG hotels.

Yes – bicycles are available at most of our hotels:

• Hotel Alt-Connewitz: 8 city bikes, €10/day. Free locked bicycle garage for your own bike (key stays with you throughout your stay).
• All other hotels (LINDEMANN's, fjord hotel berlin, CALMA Berlin Mitte, Anna 1908, Hotel am Bayrischen Platz): €12/day at reception.

Yes – the YARD Berlin has a spa area exclusively for hotel guests:

• Indoor pool: approx. 12 m long, 4 m wide, 1.35 m deep; water temperature 26°C. Opening hours: 07:00–22:00.
• Finnish sauna & steam room: 15:00–22:00.
• Fitness studio available.

Spa entry for hotel guests: €10/person/stay; children (7–14 years): €5. Towel and slippers included. Spa is exclusively for hotel guests.

Hotel Alt-Connewitz has a Finnish sauna (35–110°C) – free of charge for all hotel guests, accessible whenever reception is open (daily 07:00–22:00).

Our other little BIG hotels do not have their own pool or spa.

Yes – selected hotels welcome pets:

• Hotel Alt-Connewitz: €10/night.
• Hotel am Bayrischen Platz: €25 per stay.

At our other hotels – the YARD Berlin, CALMA Berlin Mitte, fjord hotel berlin, LINDEMANN's and Anna 1908 – pets are unfortunately not permitted.

Yes – all little BIG hotels are non-smoking properties. Smoking is not permitted in any indoor area.

Yes – children up to and including 5 years old sleep free in their parents' bed. For breakfast: children up to 4 years free, children aged 5–12 pay €10.50. A cot is available on request at no extra charge. CALMA Berlin Mitte additionally offers baby baths (on request).

All properties have lifts and walk-in showers. For guests with reduced mobility or wheelchair users, we recommend the following rooms – please mention this when booking so we can check individually:

• the YARD Berlin: YARD little ONE category; grab rails at toilet and shower; bathroom door 64 cm.
• LINDEMANN's: Room 101 ("Streetlife & Big" category); walk-in shower 120 × 120 cm; WC with grab rail; room door 94 cm; accessible breakfast room.
• fjord hotel berlin: Room 609 ("SCHØNES M" category); walk-in shower, access 92 cm; room door 92 cm; accessible breakfast room.
• CALMA Berlin Mitte: All room 13x ("M" category); walk-in shower; WC with grab rail; room door 94 cm; accessible breakfast room.
• Anna 1908: Apartment building recommended (lift available); suitable rooms: "Unser Gemütliches", "Gemütliches mit Balkon" or Apartment 116; walk-in shower. No step-free access to breakfast room.
• Alt-Connewitz & Hotel am Bayrischen Platz: Lift to all floors – please enquire individually.

• Anna 1908: 3 outdoor spaces and 12 underground garage spaces, €12/night each. Entry height approx. 1.80 m; note a tight bend in the underground ramp for long vehicles.
• LINDEMANN's: 10 outdoor spaces, 7 underground garage spaces, €22/night each. Garage lift: max. 2.10 m height, 5 m length; courtyard entrance 2.70 m. EV charging point (first come, first served).
• the YARD: 5 underground garage spaces, €25/night. Entrance via Neuenburger Straße; max. entry height 2.00 m.
• fjord hotel berlin: 9 outdoor + 8 underground garage spaces, €19/night each. Max. entry height 2.00 m. EV charging point (first come, first served).
• CALMA Berlin Mitte: no hotel parking – public car parks available nearby.
• Alt-Connewitz: 20 spaces, €8/night; car park locked at night. 2 EV charging points available (flat fee €20).
• Hotel am Bayrischen Platz: 11 free outdoor spaces in the courtyard. Access via Straße des 18. Oktober – do not turn into Paul-List-Straße itself.

Anna 1908 is not within Berlin's low-emission zone – no green environmental badge is required here.

Berlin: CALMA Berlin Mitte, fjord hotel berlin, LINDEMANN's and the YARD are located within Berlin's low-emission zone. You will need a green particulate matter badge (Umweltplakette) for your vehicle.

The badge can be ordered online at Berlin.de or obtained from vehicle registration offices, TÜV, DEKRA, GTÜ, FSP and accredited workshops. It is tied to the number plate and has unlimited validity (cost approx. €5–15 depending on provider).

Leipzig (Alt-Connewitz, Hotel am Bayrischen Platz): Both locations are within the Leipzig low-emission zone – the city's badge requirements apply. Check the official City of Leipzig website before arrival or ask our team.

Yes – for groups of 5 or more rooms please use our group enquiry form → or write to us directly at groups@littlebighotels.com. We will advise you personally and put together a tailored offer.

Yes – for fewer than 5 rooms you can book normally online. With the booking code "little5" you also receive an additional €5 off the total price.

We do not currently offer meeting rooms. However, we are happy to advise on group and corporate enquiries.

Phishing is online fraud: attackers impersonate trustworthy senders to obtain personal data or payment information. In hospitality this often happens via fake e-mails or chat messages.

We will never ask for credit card details by e-mail or WhatsApp. If a message does not come from these addresses or numbers: do not click, delete it, and if in doubt contact us directly – e.g. stay@littlebighotels.com or +49 30 99 40 45 20.

3D Secure is an additional layer of security for online card payments. After booking on our site you are redirected to your bank and confirm the payment e.g. via app, TAN or password – this means practically only the cardholder can authorise the transaction. The process is known as "Verified by Visa" and "Mastercard SecureCode" and protects you against unauthorised use of your card details.

We handle your data confidentially and in compliance with the GDPR; for hospitality we work with a certified data protection officer. The full statement including your rights is available in our Privacy Policy.

We use a first-name, informal tone to convey our "finally at home" feeling – that is our guiding motto. We want you to feel at home with us. That is why we address you in a respectful, relaxed and authentic way.
