No. CALMA Berlin Mitte is a classic overnight hotel – no day use, no hourly hotel, no short-stay booking. Reservations are for overnight stays only. Check-in from 3:00 PM, check-out by 11:00 AM. Late check-out until 2:00 PM is available as an add-on for €25, subject to availability.

After booking you will receive a personalised link. One click opens the WebApp: fill in the registration form, check in online and open your room door directly via smartphone – no waiting at reception.

Yes – freshly prepared every day. Daily 07:00–11:00. Price: €21/person, €10.50 for children (5–12 years), under 5 years free. With the breakfast rate only €19/person.

Yes! Every day from 13:00 to 21:00 the CALMA offers complimentary coffee and tea for all guests. For hygiene and environmental reasons there are no coffee machines in the rooms – instead we offer our coffee flat rate with eco-friendly to-go cups.

Yes! Bicycles can be hired for €12/day at reception. The CALMA is located right on Linienstraße – a quiet cycling street free of through traffic. By bike you can reach Museum Island, Hackescher Markt and Prenzlauer Berg in just minutes.

The CALMA unfortunately has no dedicated parking. Public parking spaces and car parks can be found nearby. Our tip: bike or metro are the easiest ways to get around Mitte.

The CALMA has no air conditioning – a fan is provided in every room.

Yes – children up to and including 5 years sleep free in their parents' bed. Children up to 4 years eat breakfast free, children aged 5–12 pay €10.50. Cot and baby bath available on request.

Yes – all category "M" rooms (room numbers 13x) are accessible: walk-in shower, WC with grab rails, room door 94 cm, step-free access to the breakfast room. Please enquire directly at the time of booking.

Yes – luggage can be stored free of charge at reception before check-in and after check-out.

Yes – the CALMA is a non-smoking property. Smoking is not permitted in any indoor area.

The team is available daily from 07:00 to 22:00 – for questions, tips and anything you need. Outside reception hours a telephone night service is available.

The CALMA is ideally located in the heart of Mitte: the Berlin Cathedral, the City Palace (Humboldt Forum) and Museum Island are around 15 minutes on foot. Brandenburg Gate and Alexanderplatz are 5–10 minutes by public transport. Hackescher Markt, Rosenthaler Platz and Oranienburger Straße are all within easy walking distance – Berlin Mitte is your stage.

Unfortunately not – pets are not permitted in any little BIG hotel.
