What PARTNER PFERD is about

PARTNER PFERD is Leipzig’s major equestrian festival under the roof of the Leipzig Trade Fair. Four days of World Cup atmosphere, evening shows and a fair with everything horse and rider care about. 2027 is the 28th edition. Sport, exhibition, Action Ring, children’s world and info stages interlock, and the walk from arena to stand is usually short.

When and where it takes place in 2027

Competition runs from 14 to 17 January 2027, Thursday to Sunday, at Leipzig Trade Fair. Arena in Hall 1 delivers stadium feeling, the halls around it shopping and advice close to the sport. In parallel, the Leipzig Veterinary Congress runs from 14 to 16 January. With your congress ticket you can also visit PARTNER PFERD.

What awaits you in sport

In Leipzig it is about world ranking points, nerves of steel and courses at 1.60 m level. The Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ is the big draw, technically tricky distances, tight turns and a time frame that wastes no centimetre. Clear the first round fault-free and the jump-off waits with a second, faster reality.

Then comes the FEI Driving World Cup™ with four-in-hand teams, indoor driving at its purest. Hundredths decide, and the crowd drives the teams through tight lines and precise combinations.

Evenings in the arena

Besides the sport, the productions in Hall 1 are fixed dates. Friday’s Sparkassen Sport Gala combines World Cup qualification, four-in-hand trophy and a show block of around 90 minutes. Saturday’s Leipzig Horse Night brings Pony Trophy, PARTNER PFERD Speed Cup and the legendary six-bar jumping, tension until the last pole.

You come to PARTNER PFERD if you love equestrian sport, from ambitious amateurs to whole families. As a sports fan you get World Cup atmosphere, as a young rider you pick up know-how and inspiration, and if you want to shop you find saddles, care, tech and fashion right on the grounds. Even if you just want a look inside, you get a tightly paced event with short routes and many aha moments.

Tickets and prices

Tickets run via the official PARTNER PFERD channels. There are sport and fair tickets, day and evening formats and combination tickets. Sport tickets range from €20 to €76 depending on day and time, VIP packages are booked separately. Fair tickets are cheaper online than on site, reduced tickets start from €11. Black Thursday and Isi-Friday are two online special tickets at €9.90 each.

How to plan your fair day

Set a rough day plan: your must-see rounds first, then fair rounds and Action Ring. If you like show atmosphere, take Friday or Saturday evening and combine the performance with an earlier hall visit. The grounds are easy to reach by tram 16 towards the fair and S-Bahn. At the weekend, plan a little buffer, the mood is big and the routes stay short.

Stay for PARTNER PFERD

Four days of equestrian arena in north Leipzig, KarLi or Connewitz in the evening instead of the fair car park. Tram 16 or S-Bahn gets you to PARTNER PFERD by day, and the city is yours again at night.

Hotel am Bayrischen Platz sits central-south, close to KarLi and quick into the city centre. Hotel Alt-Connewitz sits in lively Connewitz with neighbourhood flair and green nearby. Both are city-close with direct public transport to the fair.
