What FRUIT LOGISTICA is about

FRUIT LOGISTICA is the world’s leading trade fair for the international fresh produce business. At the Berlin exhibition grounds, producers, buyers, logistics specialists and technology suppliers meet for three intense fair days. Fruit and vegetables, dried produce, packaging, cold chain or retail tech: the full value chain sits under one roof. For many decision-makers, Berlin in February is the fixed point where assortments, partners and trends for the year are negotiated.

When and where it takes place in 2027

From 3 to 5 February 2027 the fair opens at Berlin ExpoCenter City, Messedamm 22. Opening hours are Wednesday and Thursday from 9 am to 6 pm, Friday from 9 am to 4 pm. All information on entrances, halls and getting there is on the official fair website. According to the organiser, the ticket shop starts in September 2026.

The three core segments

The fair is organised into Fresh Produce, Machinery & Technology and Logistics. In the product area you compare assortments, countries of origin and trade programmes right at the stand. In the technology halls it is about sorting, packaging, sensors and automation from field to shelf. The logistics segment is all about cold chain, transport, hubs and monitoring. Formats such as Smart Agri, Organic Route, Startup World and the Innovation Award sit alongside.

Is it for you?

You come to FRUIT LOGISTICA if you want to check assortments and supply, open new markets or find partners for temperature-controlled chains. As a start-up you show prototypes and start first conversations with the industry. The fair is clearly B2B, international and built for fast decisions.

Tickets and getting there

Tickets are sold online only via fruitlogistica.com. There is no ticket desk on site. If you book early, you secure slots and skip the stress of an already busy hotel week. The most relaxed way to the grounds is by S-Bahn via Messe Süd, Messe Nord or Westkreuz, by U2 at Theodor-Heuss-Platz or Kaiserdamm, or by bus. On fair days public transport is usually the smarter choice.

How to plan your fair day

Mark your must-see stands and halls first, and leave buffer time for conversations. The fair is large, and good contacts often only appear in the second talk. If you have several days, use Wednesday to get oriented and Thursday for deeper meetings. Friday ends earlier, so it works well for wrap-up meetings or an afternoon flight home.

Three full fair days at ExpoCenter City, and you probably do not want every evening in the fair surroundings. From Anna 1908 in Steglitz you reach the grounds in about twenty minutes by taxi or Uber, and fjord hotel berlin, LINDEMANN’S and CALMA Berlin Mitte connect well via S-Bahn or U-Bahn. Meetings and halls by day, Steglitz, Schöneberg or Mitte by night instead of fair catering.
